Either side of Niagara

Either side of Niagara

In spring it's snowing
in USA
as you all say

Ice breezy snow
here
come and see
Canada will ye

on either side
of NIAGARA
stand you and me
the daffodils are blooming
the birds chirping
in your place

come over aside
and look over my shoulders
no you won't recognize
Lovedly
covered in the blue rain coat fully
here it is still chilly
snowing like the winters' freeze
come and see me

Niagara is where we may meet
across all barriers
No Mexico wall here

Niagara to all USA-ites
and
Canadiens
is lovably
adorable my dear
poetically

Spring hasn't quite sprung!

Sounds like you're having the same kind of Spring in Niagara as we're having in Vancouver – except that, with us, it's unending, dreary rain, same as last year (though we had snow for the first time in living memory in April last Winter). I wrote a poem about it last year and another one this year. There's something about Spring delayed that seems inspiring in a dispirited sort of way. Lovely poem! Hope to see more from you on here.
