Endless Quest

This quiet night is filled with dreams,
asleep, it seems.
The moon hangs low,
the stars, aglow.

And I, I gaze toward this sky
and ponder why
I'm here at all,
so meek, so small.

While far beyond, the endless quest
to know, attest
if God is there
to hear my prayer.

Dear Lavender

A very tender piece you've penned here . Simple but easily touches the heart.

The first stanza is especially spectacular.

Thank you for sharing 🙏🏻
