Fertility
Hectic search in the mind's forest,
Dicker hearts, yea, heart for heart.
Two or three immutable minds appeared,
Smiles in cheek but gloom in heart,
The reluctant hearts repel, Oh, repel!
A taboo to the dense forest, yet he moved
He saw wonderful beasts, terrible and good,
Now he lost his way, he wanders in the dense wood,
He began to write poems flowing from the heart,
Then he was hungry to drink the intoxicants,
The juice of some drug-plants inspired him,
Gulped a mouthful of fantastic dreams,
Be no blob,I want thee in my heart, the intoxicant
Made him write and write to get the Nobel.
He some how escaped from dense thoughts
He became great with his wonderful ideas.

This reminds me of the supposedly interrupted nature
of Coleridge's immortal "Kubla Khan".
I love the imagery and stream of consciousness but two lines bother me a lot-
Be no blob,I want thee in my heart, the intoxicant [blob? oh come on! the word lowers the tone of the poem]
Made him write and write to get the Nobel. [Nobel? I guess we would all like one, but there are higher aspirations for the heart of a poet]

Lamps lit
Life teaches fertility,
Unaware, sporadic,
Create, re-create life,
Shivered cat is mind,
The mind of a poet.
Lamps lit I sow seeds,
The Sun now a nonentity,
Distance itsellf a mirage,
Shiver! Terribly cold,,
Seeds shudder to sprout.
Fertility! What inspires?
Has Nature ceased work?
No, for plants grow aplenty
Poems produced abundant,
Let us move. Move we must.
