Finding Home

You can search around the waiting world
Turn over stones in distant lands
Frozen peaks and sandy shores
Forest floor or desert sands

But home has always lived in you
Bonded to a beating heart
Speaking through your every word
Walking proudly through your art

You’ve never missed a single thing
Except a person that would share
A home that always lived in them
Inviting you to meet them there

When both homes are mulled as one
Love locked behind patient gates
Still the worries of the world
Joined together in the fates

Yes!...

Perfect rhyme and cadence! Makes sense too! When you have two people who share a dream of home and what it means, there will be no greater love. Nice stuff. ~ Geez.

Dear Tim

This is poignant I think the rhythm is divine. It's a gentle stroll through the mind with a message that is universal.

Bravo! Another wonderful poem from your pen.

Kind regards Jayne
