First Class Ticket

This ticket leads you to a place where love and kindness grow,
a first-class ride through quiet grace, a treasure you will know.
Your journey’s worth doesn’t start in the class where you begin,
but in the love you carry and the peace you hold within.

Don’t chase a fleeting glory, or climb a burning flame,
for fire glows its brightest, in honest hearts untamed.
The richest souls are those who give, not those who only take,
this path is made by love alone, or lost in hearts to break.

The journey’s end is not in gain, but in the grace of peace,
the tracks you make, the hope you hold, as simple joys increase.
Your first-class ticket value lies in riches you can’t see,
not in gold or silver, but in the love you share with me.

Hmmmm...

this one reminds me of the Beatles song, "She's Got a Ticket to Ride." Not that she doesn't care, but that the person she is involved with realizes what they have in that person. Does that make sense? ~ Geez.
