Fourth of July was quiet

Is it me
it seems nobody celebrated the 4th,
it was really quiet this year,
my neighbor didn't litter my yard with debris,
the night air was calm, and the critters rejoice
In nature songs

The below is a computer-generated response from Neo, Neopoet's computer artificial intelligence:

The poem "Fourth of July was quiet" explores the absence of traditional celebrations and the tranquility experienced on Independence Day. The overall concept is interesting, as it presents a unique perspective on a typically lively holiday. However, there are a few areas where the poem could be strengthened:

1. Structure and Flow: The poem lacks a consistent structure, which can make it feel disjointed. Consider incorporating a specific rhyme scheme or meter to enhance the flow and coherence of the poem.

2. Imagery and Descriptions: While the poem briefly mentions the absence of celebrations, it would benefit from more vivid and detailed descriptions. Try to paint a clearer picture of the quietness and the critters rejoicing in nature songs. This will help the reader better visualize the scene and connect with the emotions conveyed.

I think...

that your neighbors have gotten tired of the same old tolerance and decided to antagonize someone new. Now here you are celebrating the silence. At least you can hear the crickets and watch the fireflies. ~ Geezer.

Awesome response

Hi geezer
I appreciate your response to my little piece of writing. Feels good to hear from you and connect again I enjoy the silence and the chatter of nature. I think the fireflies went extinct as I haven't seen and in years now. I have seen many other never before seen species like the black and white polka dot butterfly, weird colorful caterpillars, hummingbirds fly up to me neon colorful, giant black and yellow spiders and different kinds of never-before seem moths. In my house as well as a weird spiky yellow bee worm on my husband's card. I wrote a post about them connected to a picture of them here.

Thanks again, my friend.

Hi stan

Thanks for the response. It was really quiet. Not even the traditional cookout. Just another day of no work for those I know. Glad to connect with you again here. My eyes don't allow much reading here, but I'm still doing what I can I'm in my space.

Again glad you hear from you.
