Frenemies Forever
My kookaburra friend still whispers in my ear sometimes and sometimes slaps me aside the head
when I least expect to expect it. Wtf are you thinking Anna? Don't you know I'm still paying attention
this side of a shaman's dream?

Hello my friend
Always great to read you dear Anna.
"Kookaburra friend" I like this.

I would guess...
that Jess would have thought this quite funny. I know he didn't believe in an after-life, but I think that he was wrong.
I do believe that so long as someone remembers, he will live! Nicely done. ~ Geez.

It seems even the kookaburras cried
in their silent grief
as if their only friend had died
and they had no relief
on the day that the elf died
