A Fresh Start!

Grebes swim on crisp waters.
Reeds blow in the wind.
Time to make a fresh start,
to find yourself again.

Given the current circumstance
you’ve got to make a friend!
Someone you can turn to,
from outside and within.

A rainbows on the horizon
a scintillating light.
Something new is coming
maybe this very night!

You’ve got to be ready
to pull at the first bite.
Your Gods they will not save you.
if your heart is not quite right!

You’ve got to walk from this rut
you’ve stepped into this night.
A rut becomes a tomb
If you allow it to so fight!

Dear Leslie,

I just noticed that you have used the "Blog function" to post two poems in one day. This is frowned upon because it is cheating. To get around the rules of ONE poem per 24 hours per poet!
