Going for Broke:

Broke something for my play
It was never perfect anyway
So I reasoned what to say
That no way would I pay

About This Poem

Last Few Words: The Pottery Barn rule is an American expression alluding to a policy of "you break it, you bought it" or “you break it, you buy it” or "you break it, you remake it", by which a retail store holds a customer responsible for damage done to merchandise on display. Does this only apply to customers (persons) and not to countries?

Thanks for your review but I am perplexed, which of my rules did I break?

I thought the rules

for line count and syllables for rhyku were the same as for haiku. You often write that way.
My bad.

As you may have noticed, this is a four line poem that is neither Haiku nor Rhyku - more like a free verse rhyme. Cheers.
