Going with the Flow

In the rhythm
the gentle pace
that is meant to be
the presence
the here and now.

Not even thinking
just feeling
and using your emotions.
Slowly
Gently
Calmly
And still reaching your destination.

Moving
Floating
in a dreamlike state
but still aware.

No particular purpose
just the being.
Very serene
and status quo.
Not even asking questions.
Not even alert.
Just there.

All over my body
and in each part.
Understanding
that to be like this
is wonderful.
Not just a great start to the day.
Only beautiful
to feel like this.

About This Poem

Last Few Words: Describing what it feels like after my yoga nidra session . Only the emotions and the sense of calm which emerges in the immediate aftermath of that session. So blissfully wonderful.

The below is a computer-generated response from Neo, Neopoet's computer artificial intelligence:

The poem "Going with the Flow" conveys a sense of peacefulness and mindfulness through its gentle and flowing imagery. The repetition of words like "gentle," "slowly," and "calmly" effectively creates a soothing rhythm that mirrors the theme of going with the flow. The poem captures a moment of being present and embracing the beauty of simply existing without a specific purpose.

One suggestion for improvement would be to consider adding more vivid and specific sensory details to enhance the reader's experience. Descriptions that appeal to the senses can make the poem more immersive and engaging. Additionally, you may want to explore varying the structure or adding more complexity to the emotions or reflections expressed in the poem to add depth and nuance to the overall message.

Overall, "Going with the Flow" effectively conveys a sense of tranquility and acceptance of the present moment. Expanding on the sensory details and emotional exploration could further enrich the poem's impact on the reader.
