GONE FISHING

GONE FISHING

My mind is still sharp and clear
and I understand the world about me.
but my art is no longer true
to the visions I seek
and when I speak
I disappear into mediocrity

I think It's time
to leave it all behind
and let my silence tell
what my words fail to do.
It's time to let go ...

Io veggio tutto chiaro chiaro

Io veggio tutto chiaro chiaro
e sono di mente ancora sano.
Ma le parole non mi vengono piu'
e le visioni che voglio disegnare
tramite lárte mio sembrano
cadere in mediocrità.

E tempo , dico mo', di lasciare tutto indietro
Che il silenzio parli I miei sogni.....

Hello friend

I can't blame you for tiring in your fight. Yet I also encourage you to "rage, rage against the dying of the light!"..........stan

I don't agree Joe

your words always speak loud and they speak of many and to many.
Never quit penning.
Take care Joe.

beautifully written Joe

Your writes really work on one's emotions
can't see you stopping yet
and, surely not time to let go

No, my friend, not tomorrow.

No, my friend, not tomorrow. I have unpublished most of my poems. I did leave a number of poems that I thought ok.I need to re work some. I won't post for the sake of posting, I will post again only if it is something I think is worthwhile.
I don't want to crowd the site with my shit. I've done better.

I agree with Ian in his comment to you in your post DON'T UNPUBLISH.

I the meantime I thank ALL OF YOU who have encouraged me.

your friend,

joe
