02/26 Between the Lines of a Normal Day

Greetings from the (W)alternate (You)niverse

I thought it had been a surreal dream or some runaway fantasy
A vivid hallucination of the psychosomatic kind
But when a portal of blue light opened right in front of me
It felt like a vortex from my cortex was compressing on my mind

A man with a familiar face stepped through the door and greeted me
At first, I thought I was looking into a mirror when he spoke
“I am you from a parallel universe so it’s hard to believe”
And right away read my mind when he said “but this is not a joke”

“Every decision you didn’t make here is a life somewhere else
A strange mood change or attitude range is another you bleeding through
The moments you thought you heard a voice or when you talked yourself
The dreams and false memories are other yous which you call deja-vu”

“I come from a world where science and knowledge are very advanced
We travel through these cosmic gateways to help and guide ourselves
We share in the wisdom we have learned regardless of circumstance
So that we can elevate one another through our different realms”

My (w)alternate handed me a watch, a portal opening device
With the power to unlock wormholes to go through and enter
And in between the lines of what seemed to be just a normal day
My parallel self, looked at me and said “let’s go on an adventure”

To be continued…

Greetings from the (W)alternate (You)niverse

A couple of years ago I wrote a 30 part series as part of writing challenge. With imagination unlimited, I met my other selves from different universes and needless to say it was quite the fun adventure, so I may be doing another 30 part series.

Greetings from the (W)alternate (You)niverse

I was just mentioning in a previous comment that I wrote a 30 part series some years ago and it was really fun. I may do another 30 part series but I'll have to write outline so that each poem continues into the next. I may end up publishing my first work but I'll need to do some major editing and polishing.

Hello!

I remember some things that Jesus said, one of them being "Ye are Gods"! We're all passing through time on an endless carousel ride, although very painful at times. I also hope to read more.

Greeting from the (W)alternate (You)niverse

We are masters of our thoughts and emotions, so the imagination is unlimited. I wrote a 30 part series years ago which took me through some wild adventures, only to realize that I longed to come back home to my quiet, simple life. I'm thinking of doing another 30 part series but I'll have to complete an outline so that each poems connects.
