Greif

In grief we find strength through tears
And we build memories with our smiles
Each day shadows give way to light
And we remember and cherish laughter
So do not embrace sadness today
But rejoice for what has been
And as time passes so will pain
Leaving the essence of who we are

hello,

I found this to be a thoughtful write on a subject that I am regretfully familiar with. Good work.

I took a different stance on same theme. But this is w onderful. Truth well expressed , Hope and melancholy. The "light" shines thru your words.

Mike

Just the title that has a Typo "GRIEF" these things are missed by the brain as we most times only use a few of the letters in a word.
Liked the theme, though I feel that your piece could hold more feelings in it, but that's me using 100 words where 10 will do.
Hope the weather is good up the road lol Take care talk soon,
Yours Ian.T

I liked the simplicity of it

Perhaps - But rejoice for what has been good?
And as time passes so will the pain
Leaving essence, our own once again.

Just thoughts around possibilities Mike,
perhaps a bit too like me rather than you,
only thoughts, don't take me seriously, unless
you wish to.

I liked the simplicity of it, the simple poetry
can say so much without cluttering itself
with too many metaphors and adjectives.

Love Ann.
