Grey

Grey

grey were the
color of my
false lovers eyes.
gray were
the skies
slate barren
promising rain,
when he left me.
now, I watch
those charcoal clouds
sodden with a tempest
of torrential rain.
I walk away
from my window.
I've had enough
of this dreary
grey dark day!
*
tomorrow-
*
more Grey-
*
grey spots
formed
from wind dried
rain drops.
grey bundles
of rain clouds
dissipating
empty of
precipitation
grey fading away
to gather
again
someday...

Grey

Hi, Cat,
Great imagery with this, full of emotion. More than sadness, an emptiness.
