Her Gaze

Her gaze is fixed
on a thing of love
and I may admire
unobserved
her lovely face

may see it radiate
a soft glow of light!

And all those things
which I may neither
touch or know
broils within me...
Spirit distilled by soul

and at last
my love knows words,
both silent and whole.

and at last
my love knows words,
both silent and whole.

Tyro

The way you have poured out your feelings just got me imaging how physically might look, nevertheless a male animal doesn't scrime for nothing there must be something biting him. I like it any way thanks.

Hello tyro

seems it's only me not to get the first stanza especially "fixed on a thing of love"

However I read with awe the line

"Spirit distilled by soul"
and the last closing couplet.

Enjoyed
