Here's to the Helpers
Here's to the people
who not only help me
but give my life purpose
and direction
even if I've lost it.
They come into my life
at the lowest point
of time
and consistently remain there,
boosting me.
Help
is such a generic word.
The help
they give,
gives me confidence
and a sense of pride
in what I can do.
The only response
I can give
is gratitude
to you
for everything
you do for me
and have done for me.
My emotions
are high
and easily triggered.
For the helpers
in my life
who have triggered them

About This Poem
Last Few Words: Another great gentleman entered my professional life, and just continued to be there, to help me, give me the skills to complete a task. The other one before this one, was so patient with me. Both of them never gave up on me. My appreciation for both of them will never totally be reciprocated, so I am using this poem to express my thanks. My stillness , sense of calm and inner thoughts that I am enough to undertake the role, is only due to them.
