Hugs

Constant longing of our days

Tears of wonton hope

We cry this time not for sadness

Having little else to cope

I feel this often too

I’m swept under the rug

One thing always brings me back

The warm embrace of a loving hug

Hugs are...

best served fresh and warm, right out of the heart. Your title is simple, yet evocative of strong emotion. I don't think there are many people out there, that don't enjoy a good hug. Nice read and good feel. ~ Geez.

Hugs

are simply the best! They tend to make all else disappear and calm an uneasy heart. This poem is short and sweet. I think we all could use a hug sometimes!
