Johnny Smiles

street lamp halo
glows
black and white
pouty girls

trouble
doused in patchouli
and misty rain

footsteps

intrigue in a panama hat

the shift:

a sultry stance,
the deal, the dance

(fear,
a luxury ill afforded,
but that "sooner or later"
comes to pass)

one makes Johnny happy
the other,
never makes it home

the great stumble in the jungle!

risks of walking it alone...
pride says..I dont care...
the invisibles..
keeps those with intuition
and those that dont about..

great Poem! Al!
