A Joy
A Joy
The Great Bear lifted his head,
Even the stars realised
That in the heavens life was good
The stars reminded him of past days,
but the pattern in his mind’s eye,
was so different to those he was use to.
He saw the Seven Sisters so close,
that he reached out to touch them,
then realized where he was.
Life, good enough to bring him here,
the Spirit called he had answered,
with all the love and light in his heart.
To all fellows he gave perfect love.
the love descended through all levels,
of his spiritual being.
Transcending all barriers,
letting him see both worlds,
there eternity, and now in one.
In the whisper of a breath,
to look and not be able to see,
was the bane of all beings.
Those that could see,
even though their eyes were closed,
lived in the light of that perfect love.
Take care my earthly friends,
make sure that you open your soul,
embrace the reality, of your spirit for ever.

Most of our Philosophies are carried out in the meditative state, the bear stuff I just write as they put the thought there and most times it brings a peace not only to me as I write but to the ones that read as I think they link in with the ones that send.
You must let us know when you are having a bad time there are many things that we can do even over this distance, You take care of you, remember that as the gum tree sheds its outer bark, there are so many beautiful colours just waiting there, Yours Ian.Tx

hi
A great bear........usually associated with claws and fangs and violence. Good to see the tranquil side of him. You might want to carefully re-read this poem to spot typos.............stan

Thanks for your visit, have checked for those typo's , and would you believe (it) appeared twice in Spiritual (Spirititual) lol. I think (it) is an age thing.
I need a walk in those woodlands you portray,
Thanks again, Yours Ian.T
PS:- The Great Bear is the spirit one the North American Indians use to talk about..

Fadeth not as your light is needed to give us that variety we need to spice our sometimes dull lives up.
The number of comments of late is decreasing, I am not leaving my works on stream very long.
I will always read yours and 90% of the time will comment, who the hell else are going to hold the others up ????
Take care young bard, Yours Ian.T

thou makest me feel
thou makest me feel
indispensable
maybe indisposable
may what else
ingarbageable
but glad many Neopoets follow you
and
the stamp of
FREE VERSE IS NO CURSE
let it rest about my shoulders,
we are all trained to carry heavy boulders,
the Taj wouldn't have ever been built
unless guys like you and I
weren’t made to
under the over weights be killed
but for a monument of that stature,
I shall once again lay
And
with the might of creative human player
display,
albeit,
it may be some other day
