Leaves of life

I rest my weary head
against the earths
tender timber bed
Burnished by the
Blissful but yet bold
color of brown . Carrying

It’s colorful
coruscating
crown of the luscious
Leaves of life .
that once carried
the callow clean
Color of green
now hold the adept
colors of
orange and gold.

A very colorful...

image in my mind! I like the way that you have blended and smoothed the sentences with the "B' and 'C' beginnings.
I don't know about the use of the word [adept], but it doesn't seem to hurt the overall scheme. Perhaps leaf it 'B'. ~ Geez.

Leaves of Life

Hello, Edward,
I feel as if I've traveled through the life of a leaf. Bold imagery within a subtle journey.
Thank you!

Aw...

Both very sad and lonely songs / lyrics. I've noticed you've been inspired by Frank Sinatra before. He was one of a kind.
Thank you,

Edward,

Edward,

This is some really interesting characterization. I think it is surprising to say that timber is tender; the way you put it, however, is oddly appropriate. Comfortable even, if I can say that. I like the way you compare the matured leaves to their "callow" beginnings while honoring both equally. Beautiful work
