Lyre

I softly play the lyre,
Lulling my beloved to sleep,
Beauty knows no bounds,
As the moonlight kisses your face,

But weary I've become,
As love and fate collide,
My lyre shall stop,
And you will awaken,

Our eyes shall meet,
For the first and last time,
My tears and heart will turn to stone,
My pain of longing to be with you immortalized,
Oh Medusa,
My beloved.

Lyre

Hello!
Based on the little I know of Medusa, this is a brief, but profound poem. So much about to happen in just a few moments / words. "Our eyes shall meet, For the first and last time." Adoration and heartbreak. Very nice.

Impossible love

A love that you know will kill you in the end but is worth the risk....another fantastic, meaningful write. Good job.

Nice portrayal

I like how you tell the story better. It’s classier, shorter, and I won’t be quizzed on it. Will I?

Awesome,
Tim
