Manic Madness (year of the goat, cat, dragon & owl)

Crack off ya quakkers
frack off Peter Glutton
as you know- there’s more than tres effies
You got Peter Glutton, Jimmy not a Fallon
and the Letterman spacemen
but Musky, Gill Bates & Fuckerberg aren't the main
culprits of the melting icebergs
so let us come together to spread love not hate
I’m talking about a bit of peace and unity
where you can be free to be who you are
not what others want you to be
so let Jeff Bezos put the besos into Bezos
cas he’s not one of them
save the Amazon- bye bye Bolsonaro
never liked you anyway
remember climate change is not
fiction or a distraction
like corrupt leaders will have you believe
so we must take action
forget the roses, phoenix and hydras cas this
is bigger than any one individual
We need system change
On every fr*cken station and level
and I'll level with you
I'm playing on Lorde's tennis court
game match set- serving aces
cas I don't need no percocet
I just graduated from the university of life
This is my life, not your life
You'll only catch a glimpse upon
your tv set
if this is a standard dance I've memorised
every goddam step

I can fight and take these mother cluckers
to tribunal
but I'm not the judge, jury or executionar
I'm not a boxer- just a member of the working class
Nothing amazing- just a member of the working class
Not magic mike- just a member of the working class
This is not Danny Green vs Anthony Mundene
We're all just members of the working class
I'm not elite in any way, shape or form
I'm just a member of the working class
Just a member of the herd- the 88% of this earth
that identifies as the working class
I may not wear boxing gloves but
I've got a hundred fights on my hands
but my punches are metaphorical
I never raise a fist or take a swing
& you'll never see me in the ring
I battle with my words but trust me
When I say I'd be drowning
If I didn't know how to swim
what was the point of this poem?
never mind- I got one thing on my mind
more important than my ability to rhyme
that’s putting an end to this misery
that never ended with abolishing slavery
cas racism still exists
that’s crystal clear to me
discrimination controls the nation
with Peter Glutton spinning another fabrication
to fit with his bullshit story
yeah maybe we can’t rewrite history
but we can change the future
no more misdemeaner- quick quick
get the pyramid architect on the PA
he’ll educate you on how best to save the day

this is you but who am I?
This is not your cheese or not your stanley
but I'm not the cheese man (or the rain man)
So we'll just play nicely
Now remember..........
I’m not Alice so don’t go asking
and believe me when I say
this aint no f*cken wonderland
unless I'm the Queen of Hearts
so get Benny on the dispatch
quick quick before the train’s wheels detach
quicker than Snowpiercer when
Diggs teams up with Till to play the attack

These notes must be inspired by Lin Manuel,
Rascall Flats and My Favourite Highway
so let’s stop doing this the hard way
no turning to look the other way
It’s not as hard as you make it
It’s simple: be kind, be nice and pay attention
to who you are
Put an end to discrimination
and a real end to racism not simply
changing the station
Inspire; love, hope, joy and above all else- unity
pride, peace, people and unity
practise the peace, preach and unity
unity

Frack off ya frackers!

This poem

This poem basically sums up the thought process of someone having a manic episode- trust me I would know. I've found it helpful to turn the thoughts into poetry rather than let them impact my life in a negative way. I am going to try more classical styles of poetry too- but these don't come as naturally.
