Mankind
.
Mankind:
a whole lot of you and me's!
Mankind:
the most successful species of all
flying higher than the birds
diving deeper than the whale
scurrying around the planet
speedier than a cheetah chased gazelle
killing off all predators and
other inconvieniant species
( with disconcerting ease, I might add)
Mankind:
an Earth animal
absurd as a psychotic platypus
deranged as a Salvador Dali jig saw puzzle
still in the box
Mankind:
God's children?
in His own image?
how can this be?
how could God be as dopey
as most of my friends, family, aquaintances
and Me?

You left...
no doubt in my mind! We are the product of a deranged, pyschotic alien mind! We are all those things you spoke of, and more. I do find that poets are the exception to the rule though, we are usually well-balanced indiviuals who just like to let all the rest of the crazy world know what we are feeling. Loved it, ~ Gee

lol
So right...except for "most successful species"...gotta give that one to any archeo-bacteria, they've been around for oh, 2 or 3 billion years, heehee, and even if we wiped ourselves from the world with nuclear fire, they would survive, and inherit the Earth.

Oh yes what fun you are having
I am dancing in the wilds with a grass skirt laughing at this one, you romp away into the words and turn us inside out and sides to muddles and then come up with that ending that surprises and is such fun.
Love Ann.
