Minus a Few

Many have been pulled away
by the virus till today

many more will still go away
so to help the rest
give to the deserving
newer vaccines on the way

your turn may also come
some day
if not today
say another day
come it may

so hold on to your bed
don't stray
say
Lord bless me
for another day
at lest for today

Hopefully...

you have had your shot by now. I am not yet in line for one, but anticipate that it will be soon. I share your enthusiasm for giving the vaccine to those that are in much greater peril than I. We must in fact, be giving to those that are in greatest need.
