Moroccan Memories (A Sexy Sonnet)

I recall Halcyon Days, hot nights in Morocco
With a nice girl I once met in the Souk;
Blasted by the warm winds of the Sirocco
I can still hear her loud screams when we'd fouk.

Summer nights made us swoon with their spice
As we screwed non-stop, rapt in lewd lust
(her fat flabby arse was tasty and nice,
not to mention her forty-inch bust).
O dear African heaven with its blest shore
And the lovely old town of Tangiers,
(where a few Euros can buy you a whore
or a cute rent boy, if you're a bit queer).
And don't forget that famed Casablanca
Is the home of the masked Muslim Wanker.

About the Author

Region, Country: London, Culture Capital of the World

Favorite Poets: Siegfried Sassoon, Wilfred Owen, Rupert Brooke, Chaucer, Shakespeare to name but a few. And VERY IMPORTANTLY: Erich Fried, a leftwing Austrian of Jewish ancestry who fled the Nazis and became a British citizen in 1949., And, other writers (non-poets mainly): Raymond Chandler, Irvine Welsh, Anthony Burgess, Graham Greene, Charles Bukowski, John le Carré, Anthony Horowitz, Mick Herron, Margaret Attwood, Edna O'Brian, Maeve Binchy., Writers who I find vastly over-rated: TS Eliot, Virgina Woolf, Sylvia Plath, Phil Larkin, E.A. Poe, A. Ginsburg, Longfellow, Gerald Manley Hopkins (actually I LOATHE Hopkins more than damson-dappled words can say).

Being a Muslim myself

I'm sorry to see you've conceived muslims in such a way. I thought poetry(good one at least) should deliver good messages, and would you please tell me why and how do you call this a sonnet? Other than the line count, and the ending rhymes, I can't see this as a sonnet. Syllable count is very strict when it comes to sonnets, don't you agree?
I too can't see the volta.
Sorry, but you've asked for a harsh criticism.

Muslim wanker

That was a joke, dear. It does not make any comment about Muslims generally, but refers to a mythical creature. Sorry if you are in any way offended. The poem is a joke.

We don't

make jokes by mocking other nations/ religions...etc.
Sorry your poem and the joke behind it doesn't make any sense (to me at least)

Oh dear

I see you come from Palestine. You might appreciate my poem "Onward Zionist soldiers" a bit more.

And, by the way, joking about religion (all religions) is fine by me and always will be. There is a difference between insulting a person because of their religion (I wouldn't do that) and mocking the concept of religion as superstition.
