A Mother's Love
My Mother had a gentle touch, a whispered word, her love had warmth, a feeling unheard.
My Mother worked hard every day and taught me exciting new things with her acts of sacrifice she knew was unique for me to learn.
My Mother is the most distinctive person in my life, she listens to my problems and cares for my hurts, and is so kind and loving with her unending patience.
She was my cherished friend and my forever inspiration.
She gave me strength to fight so I can be the shining light in her life. I will become the Mother to my children, she would be proud of.
The Love a Mother has dwells deep inside her soul.

Hello Mary
Nice to meet you.
Reading this one I think you've got a universal theme to which many could relate.
I'm not sure if you agree with me that this one reads more like prose. If you aim for a poem it can easily be done by shortening the lines and adding some internal and/or ending ones.
Of course this us only an opinion. You know better what you want.
Thank you for sharing.
