Is this my End

Is my end here, or is it just the start?
A feeling of uncertainty deep within my heart,
A nagging doubt that lingers in my mind,
A fear that I won't leave anything behind.

Has my experience been all for naught?
Have I lived my life for what I've been taught?
Or is there something deeper, something more,
A purpose that I haven't quite explored?

What is tomorrow, and what does it hold?
Will my life be a story that will be told,
Or will it fade away like a whisper on the wind,
Forgotten and lost, with no legacy to send?

But perhaps this feeling is not an end,
But rather a fresh start, a new trend.
A chance to break free from past mistakes,
To embrace new opportunities and create.

To live a life that is full and pure,
To make a difference, to leave a cure.
For every end is just a new beginning,
A chance to start anew and keep winning.

So do not fear the uncertainty,
Embrace the unknown with curiosity.
For every ending is just a start,
A chance to live with all your heart.

Neopoet AI 5-29-23 version

The below is a computer-generated response from Neo, Neopoet's computer artificial intelligence:

Thank you for sharing your poem "Is this my End". Your poem beautifully captures the feeling of uncertainty and fear that many of us experience when we think about the end of our lives. The poem raises some important questions about the purpose of our lives and the legacy we leave behind.

The poem has a good flow and rhythm, and the use of rhetorical questions throughout the poem helps to engage the reader and draw them into the poem. The contrast between the fear of leaving nothing behind and the hope of creating a legacy is well-crafted.

One suggestion I have is to consider adding more sensory details to the poem. This can help to create a more vivid image in the reader's mind and make the poem more engaging. For example, you could describe the sights, sounds, and smells of the world around you as you contemplate the end of your life.

Overall, your poem is thought-provoking and well-written. Keep up the good work!
