My Own
I am me. I will continue to be me until I eventually am not. I can change how I look, who I talk to, what I show to others. All the while, though maybe buried deep down, I am still me. Possibly not to some people, but always with myself. Striving to gain a better understanding of not just the world around me but most importantly, of myself. My traumas, my mistakes, my impediments, my mannerisms, my talents, my hopes and dreams, my accomplishments – big and small alike. Become my identity. My own person.

An undeniable truth
I’d say separate the lines for delivery but excellent free verse which is a step aside from your usual structured lyrical style. It does have that texture and fabric I am used to feeling when I read your writing.
Nice work,

Hmmm...
Hi Tim,
Thanks!
I understand your logic on separating the sentences to create better flow and overall comprehension but personally, I wanted it to give a sense of a thought stream in addition to containing the gravitas that I feel it has. Though, my perspective is objective on my own processes so let me know if you still feel this way regarding the structure and I'll revise and reshape it to more effectively communicate the meaning.

Hello FG
First time to meet so hi :)
I'd call this prose rather than poetry for many reasons..
With few internal rhymes here and there if you still prefer the longer lines.
Still a good read though. Be yourself!
Thank you for sharing

A good read
I have to agree with Rula that it is a bit more prose but I enjoy your lyrical style. Be yourself! There is only one of you and you have a great talent! Well done.
