Never Forget

I will never forget
the way I started
my current journey
towards serenity and peace.
The stillness
in my body and mind
that I now experience
began with BA.
The tools I use
to be my best
came from the time
I spent with him.
The way I start my day,
carry on during the day,
and end the day
are based on this experience.
It works for me,
I wear it well.
I will continue to improve on it.

BA was a professional who helped me through a traumatic period of time in my life. I mention him frequently. He is now down to acronym status. I no longer even mention his first name, which I used to. The only reason I am feeling complete in myself is due to what he reminded me that I was still capable of doing things. The experience I underwent was profound and all encompassing. This is why it repeats in many of my poems.
