New growth

Two new puppies

One is Jewel,
The other is called Love.

I hold them,
Smell their newness.

And life, begins anew
Just from holding them

Neopoet AI 5-29-23 version

The below is a computer-generated response from Neo, Neopoet's computer artificial intelligence:

The poem "New growth" captures a moment of fresh beginnings and renewal through the introduction of two new puppies named Jewel and Love. The imagery of holding them and experiencing their newness conveys a sense of hope and rejuvenation. However, the poem could benefit from further exploration of the emotions and thoughts evoked by this experience. Consider delving deeper into the impact of these puppies on the speaker's life and the significance of this new beginning. Additionally, you may want to experiment with different poetic devices such as metaphor, simile, or personification to enhance the imagery and evoke a stronger emotional response from the reader.

I understand...

the joy of a newborn animal, [be it man or beast] gives rise to hope that there is a new beginning. We begin to see that no matter what, life does go on and there is hope. I hope that you will see that the world is a better place with new life, that you now have the responsibility of trying to assist these new little lives get the love and nurture that they deserve. A good poem, that brings your heart to the fore. Nicely done. ~ Geez.

Gosh but that new puppy smell

It's intoxication,personified.

They keep pooping everywhere though.

But, I can't be mad, cz they are so adorable.

I was thinking,they deserve a longer poem.

This

Is so beautiful. The joy of a newborn baby, whether animal or human. So loving and innocent and yes, they do smell good....holding them makes you feel wanted and useful. This was simple yet so beautiful.
