One day I woke up
To the most beautiful revelation
That somehow, unseen and unheard
The life I so desperately sought
Engulfed my very being
It walked through once closed doors
Sat on the couch and reclined tired feet
“It’s been so long, It said.
“Tell me what’s new.”

I really enjoyed...
this one; it reminds me of conversations with myself. Sometimes we have to slow down and look at ourselves from another point of view, and who better to speak with, than our other selves? Nice stuff! ~ Geez.

Hello, Tim,
This made me smile. I bet it made you smile, too, writing it! It wonderful to catch up with ourselves after / during the business of life. The poem just seems full of energy and "coolness" - like a best friend (you) sat down and reconnected after being away for awhile. I hope you had the chance to sit a spell.
Thank you!

Can't ask...
for better than that! Good friends are like a cup of a hot drink and a warm blanket beside the fire. Soothing the mind and putting you to sleep with long boring messages! LoL
