A Nod To The November Themes

Arm that plays with the wind
'tis mine but feels too free.
Travel light and travel fast;
the window down helps.
City lights and plights;
wish I could outrun myself.
No luck nor dice;
a spiritual rewrite?
No God would mistake
me for a worthy soul.

Maybe this time will be different.

no direct links with the themes, [titles]; I do see the obvious references. Very well written and thought out.~ Geez.

You are correct Geez, I must admit -- I changed the title to properly reflect what you noted. It would be a true wonder to address the four themes in such a short poem, nigh impossible. It addresses one of the themes and nods to the other three...

It moves well

IMHO. I really like the sense of progression. Lines 3-4-5-6 are IMHO masterful.

Wow... Thank you for your comments. You know, I wrote this in about 20 minutes... Not really sure if it was that good or not... but I did sense that it did link the four topics together and seemed just to flow...
