Nostalgic clap, clap dance

Nostalgic clap, clap dance

What a lovely dance you portray
nostalgia overcame me reading this
as I once held her close and tight
right in the middle of the floor
all glared with open wild and wide eyes
as they saw,
I pulled her in and tickled her here and there
unmindful of the others glare
they all did smile and stare
then clapped as I kissed her then and there

as a teenager
who wouldn’t mind
a Frenchy of any kind
as we left the floor
towards the door,
claps we heard from all on the floor
you have done me a favour
remembered our maiden dance
my first LOVE
now my wife
we still dance
as
life ages...

thanks Jess

you have chiseled a statue of a living poet
ere
okay
by your poetic acumen

the harder one gets hit
the stronger one becomes
and the final product alone by then
is well done
have you ever been a boxer !

Loved

Wow! see this is what we have waited for, and it brought a few memories tumbling around my mind.
Of being in Canada and dancing with a professional dancer, it was strange as I seldom dance, but we both moved like a dream, though she left with her husband and I had to take all the daggers out of my back lol.
OH! Ottawa and its dreams of many things , great write ,
Yours, Ian

Wash your mind.
A professional dancer was a person that studied modern dancing, and was excellent at those dances, not a lady of the night lol.
Yours Ian..

The dancing

When young we dance often and fast then we become busy with life and seem to have no time for dancing. But then the house empties out and we again have time to hold each other in our arms and slowly dance in remembrance of youth and in honor of love which endure into old age and beyond. I like your poem by the way lol........stan

you are the master Stan

I see you dancing
vertically but slowly
horizontally is perhaps silently
thanks for loving my dancing poetry

I am indeed honoured when you dance by
friendly Stan!
