The Other Side

I wonder what is on the other side of the clouds

What mysteries do my dark clouds shroud?

Is it sunshine that can never break through?

Is it the veil that is between me and you?

I wonder what is on the other side of the rain

Is it the solution to all of my internal pain?

Will my tears be going away anytime soon?

Will it stop so I can finally leave my room?

I wonder what is on the other side of life

Is it more pain or just a drum and fife?

Will you be there to welcome and comfort me?

I wonder if death is all it is cracked up to be

I am...

an Agnostic, and not ready to test the theory that the other side may be better. What if there is no other side? Nope, I'm sticking around and trying to work stuff out! There will come the day, when I have no choice, I'll wait! I do, however appreciate the story of wondering, you did well in the projecting of a person who has thought about suicide. [Personally, I'd wait!] ~Geezer.

Excellent job

I may not be ready to go just yet but I have been curious as to what others see and experience when they make the journey. While I am not a religious person, I do think there is something waiting for each of us in one form or fashion. Excellent job!
