hang on to documents

treasures bus slips
needless things
catch up

A priceless piece,
I have here a bus ticket from 36 years ago next month.
A piece of paper not even fit for the shredder to anyone,
but as you say a priceless thing to me.
Should I discard it and move on, it is just a dream,
Yours Ian.T

treasures..
valuable because..
i have many of these and i hang on to them...
with the bus slips its the random punchs in the
tranfers....random designs and random where
the driver puts them....i like the designs of them..
i got my paperwork again from officials..they all kinow
me...i carefully hang on to important things only to do
a clean up and forget to throw out the wrong or right bag
thank you for the feedback on these works too..

Tell you what? Right now I am sitting on a steel chair purchased by my father some 56 years ago at a price for which we cant even by a candy today, I also have a baby wooden chair and I have hung onto it though there are no babies in the house just because it looks so cute. All these little things are priceless possessions which to others may seem foolish. Thanks for reminding us about this fact of life.

octopusses garden
we gather what we see that delights the heart and soul
it has no cost definition but a priceless command
of its voice upon us

Sounds much like my day
lost in paper
too much paper
words that run together
words that make no sense

Documents...
'without them you don't exist'...very true.
I am my passport
I am my marriage certificate
I am also my chinese takeaway flyer
not forgetting,
I am my AVON catalogue
(drumroll)
I am also, my car parking ticket
My life in printed formats.

I have a ticket
for the 1982 Le Mans that still takes me back there when I hold it in my hands. Good wine, good food, great friends, amazing machines, the whine and roar of them day and night, the smell of worn tires and hot engines.
I've kept it through fights, riots, wars, burglaries and thefts.
Precious to me.
Thanks for the poem, my friend.
