tumble rain
this crawl
falling
how you've met me in the distance
and here we tender ideals
and slip phrases across
the table
gliding

highways of intimacies
kitchen tables
night tables
coffee tables
club tables
cafe tables
work tables
and the Tableau of it all
Here is my number
here is a drink on coaster
(lets toast)
here is my hand
here is your paper to be served
here is the money Im lending
you
here is the money your giving me
here is the photograph
here is the meal
here is your love card (tarot)
card of misfortune
christmas card
birthday card
so much of it gliding
like snowswept winds
and chill ghost walks
the heart swelled
touchs
under stars
in sunshine bold
a simple poem for
the deeper soul searching
and highway routes of my
lives Ive been
thank You

Slipped the card
Slipped
the card
through letterboxes
onto polished floors
into pockets of old raincoats
tattered
worn
discarded
forgotten.
