PALE REFLECTIONS

I am a pale reflection of yesterday
a shadow wandering through the days
painful to itself and the soul it bears.
the child I was to those who bore me.
lingers somewhere in patient anticipation
not knowing what is to come
yet certain of its coming...
and wishiing it were not so

Last Few Words: I am still around barely fnctional ohysically, Have taken many unexpected hits to body lately. just out of hospital again, I thank God I still have a clear mind. Wish u all well and the spirit to fight back until YOU decide enough is enough. No one wants to suffer.Sometimes, I think worse than the pain is the loss of human dignity. joe
