Dear Clentin
Whatever your faith this is a prayer all can relate to, it's a universal poem that anyone could take something away from, I have to say for three lines it packs a punch.
Well done!!
Kind Regards Seren

Prayer
Hello, Clentin,
The art and miracle of prayer - the humbleness in asking, and the wisdom and faith in listening. Thank you for this!

Bout sums it up
“I would choose my own religion, worship my own spirit
But if he ever preached to me I wouldn’t want to hear it
I’d drop him a forgotten god, languishing in shame
And then if I hit stormy seas I’d have myself to blame.”
Tom Marshall
I don’t pray so much. I have faith in abundance.
Nice job

The title indeed...
encapsulates the body of the poem. That's what it truly is. Our heart is truly, the communication center between us and God. And we hope for what we ask in prayer to come to fruition. Beautiful poem.
