PUPPY LOVE

PUPPY LOVE

Those dark eyes that stare lovingly up at me
Make me wish that I could make you mine
And just for this brief moment I will resign
But your affection is so very clear to see

Holding you close, albeit seen as wrong
I sense your warm breath as I breathe in
And as you push so softly against my skin
I’m sad that to someone else you belong

It’s a shame that we’ve not met before
And after today we’ll go separate ways
But both look back as if the moment stays
You’re such a special glossy black Labrador

Ooooh...

one of my favorite breeds! [I had a half-breed, Black Lab and Belgian Shepard] My sister had the mother [Black Lab.]
Anyway, I see by the way you write about this puppy, that you are dog-lover. That makes a point for you in my book!
I don't have any crticisms for you. Your rhyme-scheme is great and a great story! Good job! Welcome to Neo.
