Push Me
Help me God for I have fallen from the Lord's grace, he doesn't even remember my name.
These voices in my head have taken advantage once again, causing anxiety and depression to make a home inside my head.
Please forgive me Lord for I have sinned once again. I'm ungodly and need to be cleansed from this darkness within.
I beg of you, Lord, take this anxiety and depression away before these voices push me to commit the seven deadly sins.
Please give me the strength to tell anxiety and depression to flee from my head.
Showing anxiety and depression, they're not welcome to cause any more pain.
It's time to exterminate this infectious disease and take control of my thoughts and happiness.
Go on, try to push me to feel unworthy as I do not deserve the air I breathe.
You won't succeed because see anxiety and depression has forced me to dig down deep.
Finding strength and self-love that I never knew existed in me.
I am worthy I am perfect I am beautiful, and I am loved.
I can now say I am truly happy in my own skin.

Welcome
As I got further into the poem I started to settle in. I like the last few lines the best because of the self affirming nature of them. I hope to read more in the future. Thanks for finding us and sharing.
Welcome again,
Tim
