Rest in peace father

Undaunted was your bravery,
this, to your assailants was a mystery .
Your death was outstandingly heroic,
Inspite of bullet wounds you stood stoic.

Had you engaged your assailants in a duel,
your death would have been impossible.
Only cowards assail a man unarmed .
A pseudo glory they only earned .

Your bravery earned you a true glory,
generations unborn will tell the story.
Your peaceful rest is certitude ,
on this anchors our fortitude .

I salute your undaunted heroism,
I will forever adore your heroic stoicism.
Rest!! undisturbed in quietude,
with joy and bliss in plenitude

Thank you so much Scribbler. And living with the reality that I won't be able to see him again forever is even the hardest .He was assassinated by unknown gun men in his house.

Rest in peace father

The second verse, did lose the rhyme.
So for the second line, CRUEL is the crime.
The fourth line then, should end with HARMED.
I hope with my critique, you are not alarmed.

We know that life is a journey and not a competition

We know that life is a journey and not a competition..as we go through challenges or hindrances along our path, we must assure that we learn in every experience of every day that may bring to us..more important is we always pray and admit mistakes..
