Roses Many Thorns

I now recall
years ago may be aeons
I composed a poem from a man to his wife
O Thorn
It will take me some time to recompose it
as decades have lapsed...

roses placed in library books still living as petals
thorns stand buried in living memory of roses

how can one enjoy a cup of tea
without sugar or excess

life as you have said
is not a dress rehearsal

my vision speaks a bit louder
no clothes are needed
roses are soft
thorns perpetually prick hardest
rest all you know it

be merry
marriage is a passionate love story
hard pricks are needed
for a bitter cup of coffee
else
white tea from the Far East
where you once lived

enjoyed being the live thorn
rose petals were gradually torn

Dear Love

I think this needs to be tightened up some to make it more cohesive, it goes off on tangents for me but that could be the concussion, I think it needs an edit wait and see what everyone else thinks and if you'd like me to help with edits I would be happy to help you once I've had a little sleep, it's been a long ass day for this duck.

Dearest Love

I had a fall last night and my forehead is black with a massive bandage on it. Cat and Geez and a couple of others have seen it.

I face planted the floor and guess what?? Heads do bounce mine did. Lol. I ended up at the ER having a brain scan I have a massive concussion and a black as night baseball sized haematoma on my forehead lol I'm a stunner today hahahaha my eyes have started to bruise

I will come back after I've had a rest I've had to follow concussion protocols since I left the hospital yesterday morning.
