Rum and Raspberries

The arrogance I hold!
To think I should know
the answers to
everything!

Meanwhile,
someone else
somehow discovered
that the Milky Way
tastes like raspberries
and smells like rum...

...and I don't mean the candy bar.

Well now...

do you think that it's true? I've wondered. I'll bet it would make one hell of a chocolate bar, though.

Always the thoughtful stuff from you, Lavender. I'll bet that our muses have met in passing. ~  Geez.

Dear friend

This goes a bit over my head for some reason. I do 't  mean to ask for help as I know it has to do with the cultural background. I just wanted you to know I've been here :)

I think this deserves more traffic. It's neat and thoughtful as it should be

Thank you for sharing 🌷

Hello, Rula!

Yes, this one is a bit abstract.  I happened across this delightful fact that the Milky Way holds a dust cloud containing chemical compounds in its core that gives off the fragrance of raspberries and the flavor of rum.  A bit humbling to realize great minds are at work discovering the vast unknown of our amazing universe!

I always appreciate you reading and commenting!  I hope you have been well!

I wonder where you read this, or who told you about it, but it's interesting none the less. No one knows everything, except deity and he or she may or may not know everything either, we all pick up pieces to begin the journey within. I thought it to be a beautiful poem, full of the mystery that holds our interest. Sorry if my punctuation isn't that good. I hope you understand what I just wrote.

Rum and Raspberries

I really dug this. It's cute and fun. I've always had an affinity for poetry about the comos and the universe, why not make it taste and smell like raspberries and rum!

Nicely done.

Thank You

Hi Lavender.

Sorry to take so long to comment, but I wanted to to know that you have taught me something new.  I had no idea that there were chemical compounds in the Milky Way that smelled like raspberries and rum, but tonight I'll go out on the porch and imagine that I can taste the delicious concoction.

Thanks for a delightful poem and a taste of our universe. - Will
