Sand storm
We are at the top of the food chain.
The superiority of our species remains our favorite concept.
We are content,
Our homeostasis is fully satisfied.
All that’s left for us to do is watch,
From the top of the sand mountain,
With our eyes closed and our reflexes gone.
Moon Kissed,
Happy that I’m still here,
In the darkness,
Not on shifting sands,
At the top of the world.
It could be the end of the world,
And we wouldn’t even feel it.
We’re blind in the darkness,
But we like it that way.
What I don’t know doesn’t affect me.
Only me and the sandstorm know this,
Don’t tell anyone.
Information is power,
And we are weak.

I'm guessing...
I'm guessing that you are remarking upon how little we truly know about our world,
and our egotistical view of it all. I was a bit confused at the admonishment to be quiet and not tell everyone.
I'm thinking that the lines:
What I don’t know doesn’t affect me.
Only me and the sandstorm know this,
Don’t tell anyone.
are a joke or a way of saying that "What we don't know, won't hurt us." ~ Geezer.

Sand Storm
Hello, Valentin,
Nice take on the image - I agree with Geezer. I am getting an "ignorance is bliss" feel from this.
Strong language.
Thank you,
L
