Searching For Job

Two months searching for a job
To take care of home and family
To stand out among friends;
For want of a job-
My qualification was low
And my age was old
Under the sun I begged
If I didn’t have qualification
I would have been working
More than seconds, then
Slowly when it’s dusk, as if
I’m a clock.

My certificate was not my pride
But my skill was the need he wanted

Do you have two years’ experience?
Experience!
When I didn’t secure a job,
How would I have experience?
Mr. Man, excuse me, he said.

A lady walked in
Blinking her artificial pupils
Curled on her seat like a worm,
Manager I need a job, she said
Without hesitation, you’ve gotten a job.
On my heels
I was shame and asked
Why I’m created man
To take up responsibilities?

hello and good morning!

Two months searching for(a) job (insert a)
Do( you’ve) two years’ experience? (you have)
Blinking her artificial pupils (blinking her artificial lashes) pupils don't blink!

it is a frustrating situation: how can you get experience, if no one is willing to give you a job?!

*hugs, Cat
