SHADOW
forgot about you old freind
the sunshine streaming bright as then
the lithe and limber youthful you
now tall and limping thoughtful view
we celebrate our birthday way
the sunny sun another day
out mute raindays and puddle view
the sorrows joys and things we do

enthralled by the new and love the old
shadows are creative simplicity
Love the shadowpuppets of the east
intricate storytelling
its more then just childplay
its a love and passion
the naunce and delicate touch
In the afternoon I still love the darkness
on the tall old buildings downtown here
the light reflected back through and against
the windows clouds moving in the static
representations small vignettes
of abstract
I still love my shadow striding along with
me in long afternoons or compact
in summer noons
I havent forgotten the things that brought
me joy then or still now in this aged time
