Shimmer and Sway

I asked her to dance
even though I barely knew how.

It was a garden party.
I worried I'd look the fool.

The stars blinked some,
but didn't laugh,
and neither did she.

I guess...

we all have had the problem of the first dance; some of us faced that fear, and we managed to stand up and sway around the floor with her in our arms and not fall down; the rest never learned to dance.

This is a great story told with very few words, yet so descriptive. ~ Geez.
