Shock Treament
Can we start over again?
I don’t like how real life and artificial intelligence are crossing the lines
Can we unplug the machines then?
I don’t like when war pigs choose to kill the innocent just to hide their lies
Can we have a do over?
The world is getting more wrapped up in a warped sense of reality
Where did it all go wrong?
Repeating history expecting a different result is the definition of insanity
When we see violence and gore some are indifferent and inhumane
As if what happens halfway across the world doesn’t affect us at all
But it slowly chips away at the soul like a disease spreading at the core
And this could be the tipping point, the beginning of humanity’s fall
Maybe I’ve been plugged into for far too long and don’t like this dream
Perhaps the shock treatment will tear and the kill the virus at the root
The ugliness of what is happening today is not what I hoped or prayed for
So to the great designer out there, can I have a fresh start and reboot?

I'm with you on this - if only it worked that way. Relying on AI, accepting that this corrupt and twisted world is normal, repeating history by believing that war is the answer - our souls are indeed being slowly chipped away. So very sad and frightening.

Yes, the world is getting more complicated and ugly. It's just difficult to find the better side of humanity especially if certain individuals have a more nefarious agenda.

Lavender has it right. I think it is so sad that people just aren't worried enough yet. Anyway, damn nice job of sounding the alarm, too bad they aren't listening.

I think majority of us are feeling and seeing these effects. It's scary how many folks have detached from reality and their lack of empathy spreads like a virus.
Let's hope in that in the near future things begin to change.
