Silent and Still

There are many notes on my heart
scars, gallops, and pain.
Like a metronome you bested me,
Now acapella is in my name.

Little did I know
that a year from now
I would be on stage
and you on the prowl.

Wrapping me in your arms
you forgot to let me breathe.
That manly scented body
turned to jealous greed.

I no longer taste your lips
Now the table holds your band
we could not serve together,
So I no longer serve a man.

Window to my heart
was open for all to see,
what lies deep within,
access: only God and family.

?

MP,

you comment says this isn't up for editing and you're done with posting on this site?

So I wonder if it is worth me spending any time commenting on this one.

I am left wondering why you posted it.

Oh well, I'll move on,

HS

ps. be sure to let me know why you're done posting on Neopoet - any feedback is useful to the community especially if something is going on that is making you leave.

to answer your question

I was trying to re-post all the poems I had worked on b4 the crash of the site, this particular poem had about 12 re-writes with the help of moon man, rett, janice pearce, and a lot of the people who used to be on here. I did learn something, You cannot go back in time, its never the same.

MP

MP,

I am assuming you have contacted Andrew to see what can be retrieved from your previous profile on Neo before the crash?

I hope you get it sorted - let me know if I can be of any help.

regards,

HS
