Slag
I’ll pose a question,
and then I’ll answer it at length.
You may laugh, I don’t know
Are women allowed to enjoy sex?
Tradition has it women shouldn’t ,
Even says a woman isn’t built that way.
If that is true, maybe she couldn’t,
Lay back and think of England.
Grin and bare it.
Do it for hubby.
Women who express an interest,
Well they are labelled .
Slag, slut, skank , a hussy.
The funny thing I’ve noticed though ,
When it comes to the male ,
No one is keeping score.
Well here is the answer,
Lets cut right to the chase.
most women love sex, .
they don't always have, multiple partners.
But if they do, the're a strumpet, lthey're loose,
.
About This Poem
Last Few Words: i don't know if other countries are aware of the slang words I have used , such as slag and skank, because they are very British, but they are all a version of whore.
Style/Type: Free verse

Truth is...
it is the insecurity of those men who are afraid of not being able to hold on to their women. If a woman enjoys sex, they may want to have it with someone other than the man who is off taming the world. The terms you speak of, and the thought that women shouldn't enjoy sex, were foisted upon the female gender to keep them celibate while hubby was off taming the world. After all, with so many men out there exploring, and conquering the planet, there was bound to be one who would come along and want to take what was yours! I liked your premise, and your thoughts were consistant, but I thought that the meter could use a little work where you used rhyme. Love ya, ~ Gee xxx

"lthey're loose," what does
"lthey're loose," what does this mean lou?
Just read about a bird where the husband does al the hatching, feeding and bringing up of his children, the female goes about with several partners and never even bothers to see how the children turned out!!!! SO perhaps we should be able to have several husbands, I wonder if anyone got away with it?
As to women not enjoying sex :)

Loose
Loose means easy with no morals, as in the subject of the poem.

one can't really say
who is more sexy
but in canada
i have observed boys are more beautiful
and so girls jump up
and kiss
boys often miss
so sex is always in the air
but in
usa and canada
more boys are gay
they care and dare
sexy they may be
but who knows
when and where

Who is sexier?
But in Canada

And
So girls jump up
And kiss
Boys often miss
So sex is always in the air
But in
USA and Canada
More boys are gay
They care and dare
Sexy they may be
But who knows
When and where
Who is sexier?

a good poem on an interesting subject. The cadence is a little choppy in places, but that is easily correctable.
Truth: the only organ of the human body designed specifically for sexual pleasure, and EXCLUSIVELY for sexual pleasure, is possessed only by the female of the species and not the male.
Cultural and social mores that specifically target human female sexuality as non-existant, wrong, bad, evil, offensive and/or dirty develop because the vast majority of human males - I will not call them men - are weak when it comes to women, and cannot control themselves, and so therefore it is women who must be controlled.
Of course, the real reason such things exist is misogyny, plain and simple, which is also the reason for characterizing sexually-active women as skanks, sluts, harridans, trollops, husseys, whores, etc. etc. etc.
Yes...isn't it fascinating, how many hateful, derogatory words we have for women, in terms of sexual activity?
Pretty disgusting, really.
A good poem Lou.

Thanks. I find the use of slang words in the english language interesting, In general. It's funny how men throughout history have devised ways to control women,, from language to veils.
